I feel stupid but your use of ‘dear’, explain it to me as such? Also never seen one of these before. was it a Europe only model?

He is Europpo. “Dear” in this usage means “expensive.”

Don’t know if it was Europe only but it certainly wasn’t sold in North America.
The earlier ones are eligible for import to Canada if that’s any good to you!

yeah but doesn’t mean the car is only for that market. I don’t really have a depth of knowledge on these things. Miss Mercedes taught me all I do know. haha

I’m 6' 2" and almost 350... no smart is any good to me! haha

Well, you’d be OK vertically as the car is designed for up 1..90m which is 6'2, but sideways....

Never really cared much for these other than, Oh It’s one of those Smart’s that’s not a ForTwo! every time I see one. Until I realised it was pretty much one of the last cheap rear/mid engine, RWD cars you could get. Which instantly put it into my good books. Well until I heard it was only available with Smart’s world famous automatic gearbox. What were they thinking? Funny how Roadster, basically means convertible, yet a Roadster coupé was available. I want more distinct Smart models now.

Hi, I’m an engineering student enrolled at Oconomowoc High School. I’m currently working in the PLTW capstone course, EDD (Engineering Design & Development).
At this point in our project we need to find people who are either experts or experienced in our project’s relative fields. Our project is centered on designing a fully functional universal cup holder that has the highest potential for eliminating spills within automobiles. Even if you aren’t employed or currently working with cars, your input is valuable and will help us with our justification.
If you don’t mind my asking, what are your thoughts and do you agree with some of these statements?
Some cup holders are too shallow for proper functioning.
Some cup holders have poor placement. (Too close to electronics or get in the way.)
Some cup holders are made of poor materials and have fragile designs.
Some cup holders can’t hold enough varying container sizes.
Some cup holders hardly work at all.
Any input regarding automobile cup holders and their flaws or strengths is greatly helpful. My partner and I would also appreciate knowing what your profession is or how you’ve come to be interested in automobiles.
Thanks for your time.
